 Construction Notebook News has a reading public of about 1,500 subscribers including general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, equipment dealers, suppliers, public agencies, school boards, banks, investors, attorneys, real estate and other community-interested businesses and individuals throughout Southern Nevada and the surrounding states.
At "The Notebook" we seek out the blueprints and specifications for hundreds of projects currently bidding, and maintain the largest plan room in Nevada for our subscribers, take-offs and estimating work. Phone, fax machine, copier, coffee and other essentials like periodicals and reference books are all kept ready for our subscribers.
Our newspaper averages
110-130 pages, and has been mailed weekly since 1953. At present we distribute over 75,000 printed copies annually, many of which are shared and passed from reader to reader throughout the industry. The front half of The Notebook lists hundreds of current jobs up for General Bid and Sub Bids, complete with planholders lists and all the pertinent information, as well as up-to-date Bid Results.
"The Back" of our publication is Construction and Legal Data. Over forty plus years we have earned a reputation for being extremely accurate and up-to-date. We report all Building Permits, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning and pool permits, which have been pulled in the Southern Nevada area. We also report Contractors Board Licensure Information, including current suspensions, revocations and reinstatements, and all the Mechanics Liens, Lien Releases, and Notices of Completion for all construction activity-in the area.
In more general business credit data, we list State and Federal Tax Liens and Releases, Bankruptcies, Fictitious Firm Names and Business Licenses which have been recorded during the week.
Construction Notebook is the exclusive area distributor of American Institute of Architects (AIA) construction contract documents, R.S. Means Books, and we sell a variety of other construction forms such as Intent to Lien, Statement of Compliance, Labor Release, Mechanics Liens, Proposal & Contract, Payroll, Construction Estimating and Nevada Declaration of Homestead forms.
